Instructions
- Heat oven to 180C/Gas mark 4. Grease 2x 20CM tins
- Add flour,salt,sugar and cocoa to a bowl and mix
- Rub in margarine to mix
- Beat eggs with evaporated milk then add water and vanilla essence
- Add egg mix to flour mix and beat well
- Add mix to tins and bake for 30-35 minutes
- Remove from tins and when cool sandwich and top with chocolate icing as required
Notes
Make sure baking tins have a fixed bottom to prevent the mix from running out the bottom of the tins.
