Spider Web Cup Cakes

Ingredients
    Cup Cake Mix
  • 100 g Caster Sugar
  • 100 g Butter (softened)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 100 g Self-raising Flour
  • 50 g sultanas (optional)
  • Icing
  • 150 g Icing sugar
  • 3 drop brown/black food colouring
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 190c/gas mark 5 Add the sugar and butter to a mixing bowl and beat until soft and creamy.
  2. Add eggs to the mix and beat until mix is smooth
  3. Sift flour into a bowl and gradually add to mix and stir in
  4. Add sultanas to mix and stir in (if required)
  5. Add mix to cup cakes cases or baking tray and bake in oven for 15 - 20 minutes until risen and golden coloured. After baking place on wire rack to cool
  6. Make Icing
  7. Sift icing sugar into a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of water, mix together until it makes a thick smooth past, add water if needed.
  8. Take 4 tablespoons of icing and add to another bowl, add food colouring and mix
  9. When the cakes have cooled spread the plain icing over the tops of the cakes.
  10. Add the brown icing to a piping bag and draw on the spider web pattern.
